🌟 Year 6 Trip to the Imperial War Museum 🌟

As part of their Conflict and Resolution unit in history, Year 6 embarked on a fascinating and thought-provoking trip to the Imperial War Museum on Friday 14th March 2025. The visit brought their studies to life as they explored the World War One and World War Two galleries, deepening their understanding of these significant historical events.
One of the most powerful aspects of the trip was the opportunity to engage with primary sources—many of which the students had previously examined in class. Seeing these artefacts firsthand helped to bridge the gap between the past and the present, making history feel even more real and relevant.
The visit sparked meaningful discussions about the impact of war, the experiences of those who lived through it, and the importance of remembrance. It was a truly memorable experience, reinforcing the value of learning from history and reflecting on the lessons it teaches us today.
Well done, Year 6, for your enthusiasm and thoughtful engagement throughout the trip!
