Welcome to Aragon Primary School's website! We are thrilled to have you here and excited to share with you all the wonderful things that our school has to offer.

Aragon is a happy, ambitious and inclusive school where children are encouraged to “Be the best we can be.” This isn’t just a motto for us – it’s something we live and breathe every day. We want every child to do well, but just as importantly, to feel confident in who they are and secure in what they can achieve. Success looks different for every child, and we celebrate that.

When people visit Aragon, they often tell us they can feel the warmth of the school straight away. They notice the smiles, the calm atmosphere, the excellent behaviour, and the way children and staff treat each other with respect and kindness. There is a real sense of belonging here, and a shared belief that every child matters.

We are very proud of our children’s achievements. Outcomes are consistently strong from the Early Years through to Year 6. In 2025, our Key Stage 2 attainment was the fourth highest in the London Borough of Merton, with pupils achieving significantly above national averages over several years.

Our May 2025 Ofsted inspection recognised the school’s significant improvement, highlighting our pupils’ exemplary behaviour, strong curriculum and teaching, and caring, purposeful learning environment. These achievements reflect the hard work of our children and staff, as well as the support and partnership of our families.

An Aragon education is about much more than academic success. We want children to experience joy, challenge, friendship, creativity, sport, music and play. We encourage them to discover their interests, develop their confidence and build an understanding of the wider world.
