Year 6 - Imperial War Museum
In an enriching excursion, Year 6 embarked on a memorable journey to the Imperial War Museum London in London this Monday. Immersed in their term-long exploration of Conflict and Resolution in History, particularly delving into the narratives of World War 1 and World War 2, the students embraced the opportunity to witness history firsthand.
Venturing via tube and bus, they arrived eager to delve into the past. Beginning with the World War 1 floor, they engaged with authentic artifacts, followed by an insightful talk from museum staff. The day continued with an exploration of the World War 2 exhibits.
The children's conduct was exemplary throughout, with staff noting their enthusiasm and deep engagement.
